Wayzata Lodge and Hiram Lodge held a Joint Outdoor Master Mason Degree in late September for six new Master Masons in Freemasonry. It was an unrivaled experience full of great ritual work and fellowship and ended under the stars. Everyone had an excellent and memorable time.
Wayzata Lodge hosted the 3rd Annual Wayzata Car Show in downtown Wayzata in mid September to help benefit our yearly scholarship awards. It was a resounding success! We had close to one hundred car participants and thousands of people from the local area come out to enjoy it all on a beautiful late summer day. It was an awesome day for charity and the local community.
Wayzata Lodge hosted the Annual First Responders Dinner at the Wayzata Fire Station in early September. It was a fun evening and great BBQ Dinner.
Wayzata Lodge hosted the Annual Minnetonka Boat Cruise in Late August on Lake Minnetonka. It was a great night to be out on the lake.
Wayzata Lodge held our Fall cycle Fellowcraft Degree in late August for our five new Master Masons in Freemasonry. It was a lovely day full of great ritual work.
Wayzata Lodge hosted a Family Twins Game Night in early August. It was hot, but it was a great evening of baseball at the park.
Wayzata Lodge held an Entered Apprentice Degree in Late July for five new Candidates to join our Lodge. It was a great evening and everyone did an amazing job.
The Officers of Wayzata Lodge had a Officers Retreat Day in Mid July and played Paintball together. It was a great time.
Wayzata Lodge held their Annual Awards Night this past June where we gave out seven $1500 Scholarships to worthy graduating Seniors from across the west metro. It was a fun and happy evening.
Members of Wayzata Lodge and their families volunteered to place flags at Fort Snelling this past Memorial Day Weekend. It was a humbling and rewarding experience.
Wayzata Lodge held a stupendous Master Mason Degree in mid May for our three new Master Masons. It was a superb degree that had a full fledged and inspiring cast. We celebrated with a great prime rib dinner after.
Nine Wayzata Brothers, as well as eight from Anoka Lodge, visited Helios Lodge No. 273 in mid May during a stormy night. A great dinner was made, warm discussions were had, and brotherly love definitely prevailed. Wayzata captured the Templar flag.
Three Wayzata teams participated in and sponsored the 8th Annual Dave Vice Memorial Sporting Clays Shoot in late April in Prior Lake. Lot's of people came out to support the worthy cause and it was a fun filled day.
Eleven Wayzata Brother's went to the Annual Lynnhurst Turkey Dinner in Eagan in mid April. Brother Earl had the honor of carving up the turkey for us that evening. It was a great meal and good time.
Wayzata Lodge held our Spring cycle Fellowcraft Degree in March for our three new candidates in Freemasonry. It was a great evening with awesome ritual work.
Wayzata Lodge hosted a Top Golf outing at the Top Golf facility in Brooklyn Center in early March. It was a fun afternoon for all those who came out and played.
Wayzata Lodge had six Brothers visit Hiram Lodge No. 287 in Lindstrom in March for their Stated Meeting. It was a fun night and we took home the Corinthian Trowel Trophy.
Two Brothers from Wayzata Lodge jumped into the frigid waters of Prior Lake in Mid-February at the Polar Plunge to benefit the Special Olympics. It was a fun time for a good cause.
Wayzata Lodge had to cancel the annual Ice Fishing event due to ice conditions, so we held a ‘Fraternity Night’ with games, poker, and great food and fellowship. Everyone had an awesome night.
Wayzata Lodge hosted the 2nd Annual Sweetheart’s Wine and Whiskey Tasting event at the Zuhrah Shrine before Valentines Day in February. It was a fun filled night with great entertainments, drinks, food, and fellowship and everyone had a wonderful time.
Wayzata Lodge held an Entered Apprentice Degree in Late January for three new Candidates to join our Lodge. It was a great evening and Degree and everyone did an amazing job.
Wayzata Lodge participated in Sherburne Lodge’s “Snow Balls” Bowling tournament in Mid January to benefit a local Charity.
Wayzata Lodge held the 3rd Annual Chili Cookoff event in mid January. Brother Warren won the ‘Day’ and is the new Chili Champion for 24’. Everyone had a good time and there were many tasty chili’s present.
Wayzata Lodge volunteered to bell ringing in December at the Lund & Byerly’s for the Salvation Army in Wayzata before the Christmas holiday. It was a fun time for a good cause.
